Tribal Festival was born in 2010 in Minsk, Belarus. Founded by Leonid Ignatenkov, the Festival has evolved over the years and is now one of the largest tribal belly dance festivals in Europe. 

 

In 2014, Ethel, the Dark Fusion Tribal dancer also from Belarus, joined forces with Leonid, bringing new energy to the event. Together, they created an immersive experience that transcended borders and connected tribal dancers worldwide.

 

By 2016, Ethel assumed full responsibility for organizing the festival, but the festival's essence remained intact – a celebration of tribal dance that fostered a sense of unity and support among participants.

 

In 2023, Tribal Festival found a new home in the city of Krakow, Poland. 

 

Here’s what happens at Tribal Festival:

for three magical days, dancers from all over the world come together to learn from their favorite teachers, perform on stages (Tribal Party and Gala Show), and create a fairy tale ― a parallel universe, where beauty and passion for dance rule the game.

 

The festival's doors are open wide, welcoming dancers of all skill levels to join, learn, and perform.
